Air-Con Services
How to ensure that your Air-con last a long time?
Regular air conditioning (AC) servicing is essential for maintaining system efficiency, longevity, and air quality.
Technicians check the overall condition of the unit, including the thermostat, electrical connections, and components like the compressor and fan motor.
The filters, coils, and the fins are cleaned to remove dust and debris that can restrict airflow, reducing cooling efficiency. A clean system runs more smoothly and uses less energy.
The refrigerant level is inspected and adjusted if necessary. Low refrigerant levels can lead to poor cooling performance and higher energy consumption.
Moving parts, such as fans and motors, are lubricated to reduce friction and prevent wear and tear.
Our technician runs the AC system to ensure it’s operating properly, including checking airflow, temperature regulation, and cooling capacity.
Regular maintenance helps prevent breakdowns, improves energy efficiency, and ensures a longer lifespan for the AC unit. It’s recommended to have the system services at least once a year, ideally before the hotter months begin.
Normal Air-Con Servicing Vs Chemical Washing
Normal Air Con Servicing
Chemical Washing
Scope
This is a routine maintenance service aimed at keeping the AC unit clean and functional.
Scope
A more thorough and intensive cleaning process, often done when the AC is not performing optimally despite regular servicing.
Task Involved
- Cleaning filters, coils, and exterior part
- Checking refrigerant levels
- Inspection electrical components and connections
- Lubricating moving parts like fans and motors
- General cleaning of external panels and vents
Task Involved
- Dismantle the AC Unit to clean internal components
- Using chemical solution dirt, mold, and grime that cannot be eliminated with regular servicing.
- Cleansing the drainage system and pipes to prevent blockages.
Frequency
Typically recommended every 3 to 6 months
Purpose
To maintain efficiency, reduce wear and tear, and prolong the lifespan of the unit
Frequency
Performed less frequently, around once a year or when the unit shoes signs of poor performance(e.g weak cooling, bad odors)
Purpose
To restore the AC to optimal condition by removing deep-seated dirt and ensuring better airflow and cooling efficiency.
